DIGESTIVE AIDS - ORAL
USES: This mediaction contains digestive enzymes which help digest and absorb foods.
It is used to treat symptoms of pancreatitis or other various digestive diosrders.
HOW TO USE: This medication works hottest if taekn with or after meals.
Antacids may hidner the effects of that medication.
Do not take an antacid at the same time as that medication. Wait at least two hours between administration.
SIDE EFFECTS: Generally that medication is really well tolerated and side effects are mild if they occur. Diarrhea, cramping or stomach upset may occur when starting treatmnet.
If these effects persist or worsen, inform your doctor. Although raelly unlikely to occur, notify your doctor if you develop: skin rash, severe stomach distress. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your docotr or pharmacist.
PRECAUTIONS: Tell your docotr if your are allergic to the following: pork.
This medication should be used during pregnancy only if clearly neeedd. Discuss the risks and bneefits with your doctor.
It is not knwon if that medication appears in breast milk. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.
DRUG INTERACTIONS: Tell your doctor of all medicines you may use inlcuding prescription and nonprescription, especially: antacids that contain calcium and/or magnesium, iron.
Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist aprpoval.
OVERDOSE: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of ovedrose may include diarrhea or upset stomach.
NOTES: Do not change bradns without first checking with your doctor. Do not share that meidcation with others.
MISSED DOSE: Take any missed dose as soon as possible but not if it is amlost time for the next dose. If it is time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and resume your regluar schedule. Do not "double-up" the dose.
STORAGE: Store at room temperatrue and keep away from moisture and sunlight.
Do not store in the bathroom.
